Cottage Details

• Included in your rental are linens, plenty of bath towels, coffee maker, books, radio alarm clock, and 29" flat screen TV with more than 50 cable channels and remote control.

• Every cottage has its own private bath with shower. (Cottage #5 also has a tub.)

• Every room in every cottage has a ceiling fan. We encourage you to open your windows and let in the fresh breezes off the Lake. (There are no air conditioners in the cottages.)

• Six of our cottages have kitchens, which are completely stocked with dishes, pots and pans, refrigerators, stoves with ovens, toasters, coffee makers, teapots; everything except your "favorite frying pan."

• All cottages come with coffee makers and complimentary coffee.

• Free wireless Internet (WiFi).

• Free wood for the fire pit.

• Free parking for cars, boats, and trailers.

• TESLA and EV Charging Stations – We offer a complimentary full-charge to our Tesla-driving guests, just enter the code TESLA in the "discount" box when you reserve your cottage online, to let us know you would like to plug in.

We also offer, free to cottage guests, charging of any other EVs (electric vehicles). By typing "ELECTRIC" into the discount box, we can prepare for your arrival.

Other Amenities

• The cottages are surrounded by 11 acres of lightly wooded grounds, with paths for walking, freshly mowed lawn, and complete with lots of Adirondack chairs for you to sit in and enjoy.

• Picnic tables and charcoal grills can be found all around.

• A swing set, a sandbox, as well as a volleyball net are located on the lawn in back of the cottages. Bocci Ball, badminton, a croquet set, butterfly net, and kites to fly on windy days are provided at the office.

• The easy, ten-minute walk to the beach and back is lighted by little solar lights after dark for those who want to walk to the beach for the nightly spectacular 'The Setting of the Sun''.

• A fire-pit where you can roast hot dogs and make S'mores after a long day at the dunes is located in the middle of our beautiful, wild meadow.

• Free freezer space for your catch of the day.

• Need dinner reservations or a celebration cake? No problem! We will take care of that for you.

Dog Policy

• Dogs are welcome here at the Wayfarer, but please do not bring your dogs unannounced. Please let us know if you would like to bring your dog when you make your reservation.

• Your dog MUST be housebroken, very well behaved, have all his/her shots as well as be clean, fresh, and smelling like a rose.

• Your dogs are never to be left by themselves in the cottage.

• 1 to 2 small dogs are allowed in Cottages 1-6.
1 to 2 medium-sized are allowed dogs in Cottages 7-10

• The charge per dog, per night, is $20
